Sunny Island 8.0H | SMA Island Inverter

The Sunny Island 8.0H is an island inverter capable of operating both on and off-grid. SMA Sunny Islands are capable of supplying a true standalone grid and can mix energy from multiple sources such as PV and or gen set. The unit also comes with programmable relays capable of doing functions such as auto start and load dump.

The Sunny Island range has been extensively used in extreme environments ranging from the Australian outback to the Swiss Alps.

Uses standard Ethernet and WLAN interfaces

Ideal for retrofits or modular expansions of single- and three-phase systems in the 1 to 30 kW range

All lead-acid batteries and over 20 different lithium-ion batteries can be used

Can be expanded with SMA Multicluster-Technology for systems in the 20 to 300 kW range
