Had a great experience with the team at Ecoelectric. The quote was competitive with other well-reviewed installers, and Jeff and Kristeen took a lot of time to answer my questions. Jeff also came out to the house for an on-site quote which was surprisingly rare - many installers would only offer me quotes based on satellite imagery alone. Lachlan and his lads did a great job on the install, which was made more complicated by the weather. They were also super friendly and helpful, a pleasure to have on site. There were a couple of very minor issues that came up during the installation, but everything got resolved quickly with no hassle. The system is now working well, and even though it's currently midwinter, we have barely pulled any power from the grid since installation.

After having our original PV system for about 14 years, we engaged Ecoelectric to install a new PV and Battery System for our home in Kenmore Hills, taking advantage of the Federal Government's Cheaper Home Batteries Program. The new system comprises 15kW of PV, a 10kW Fronius inverter, 38kWh of BYD batteries and a Fronius Wattpilot EV charger to allow excess solar energy to be used to charge our 2 EV's. Ecoelectric provided a commercially competitive, and technically comprehensive quote, including realistic payback calculations. After one to two initial clarifications to get the design spec right, the order was placed, with the work being performed to an agreed schedule date over a 2-day period. The Ecoelectric site team was very responsive and friendly, and the quality of work delivered by the team, excellent. I chose Ecoelectric after getting 3 quotes late last year. They are a great combination of good prices for good quality gear. They provided a good layout with attention to what can fit on the roof, and were able to fit a couple of extra panels on when I asked. Low fuss and were good to communicate with, and kept to the schedule even in the busy December period. And it's all been working perfectly, clean tidy install and no leaks. (unlike friends who used another company around that time!). Highly recommended, I might get the inlaws onto solar with them soon.

I approached three companies for quotes, and chose Ecoelectric. From the get go, they met my checklist requirements. A local company with employees, great first contact service and a face to face meeting with Jeff to discuss my requirements. Jeff provided great advice, contrary to the upsell experience from one of the other companies. Then I was dealing with Kristeen in the office. What a pleasure and awesome communications. I was kept informed all the way. Then leading up to the install we coordinated my roof painting after installing the mounting brackets. At the installation, I met Lachlan, and he was professional and no fuss all the way. I wasn't on site day 1 but he kept me updated. They had to come back due to rain. Lachlan ran me through the set up and the safety points. I now watch my Enphase app with interest to see how my system is performing. My energy consumption habits are changing already.
