General Manager and Sales
Jeff Wehl undertook certificate studies in information technology and audio engineering, before undertaking an electrical apprenticeship in 1997. His background is primarily commercial and or government and resulted in several manufacturer’s endorsements with a contractor’s qualification by 2008. Jeff’s role is the overall management of the business and lead design on all installations. His background includes full trade qualifications with many post trade certificates within renewable energy, air conditioning, information technology and control systems. A registered integrator, Jeff takes a whole of system approach to the design of our products and is a competent business manager with demonstrated success.
Jeff enjoy’s a beer, but apart from that his spare time is generally spent looking for new technology and further developing the business. His current projects include first world problems such as automating the garage door and generally testing, configuring and sometimes cheerfully overloading suspect devices. A majority of time is spent on the web or in configuration and or design portals working towards the next integration.

TRADIE FOR A DAY
Ecoelectric is actively involved in several community programs primarily through our ‘Tradie for a Day’ program where we donate one of our electrician’s to local community groups where they are then auctioned off to the highest bidder for fundraising purposes.
Contact us if your local club or community centre would like to auction off a tradie to its members at its next fundraiser. We provide the labour for free and the customer just pays for the materials.
EARTH FREQUENCY FESTIVAL
Ecoelectric are a key sponsor and service provider for Earth Frequency Festival at Ivory Rock Conference Center. This is a both a commercial and shared costs arrangement where our primary input is to support both the festival itself and promote the use of renewable energy – and sustainability in general. Catch us annually in the markets and drop in for a chat about the latest in technology.
A DAY ON THE FARM
Somewhat closer to home Ecoelectric was involved in both a personal and professional capacity at a fundraiser aimed at furthering research into melanoma and skin cancer. Presented by Rotary the event is held on a 400 acre working farm and is aimed at families and children – it could possibly be more aptly named as ‘A Kids Day on the Farm’ (with parents watching them have a ball!). Ecoelectric sponsored and offered services at the event free of charge with all proceeds going towards melanoma research.
THE PLANTING AT WOODFORD
Ecoelectric spent a delightful and relaxing weekend at the 2015 Planting Festival. We were thoroughly engaged by the detailed sustainability program and have a presentation on renewable energy and its applications.
